Education

2006 M.A. in Social Sciences, University of Chicago (2006)

I received a merit scholarship to pursue my graduate degree where I studied the social sciences, including political science, economics, sociology, history, anthropology and psychology.

B.A. in Psychology, University of Massachusetts at Amherst (2002)

I completed my undergraduate degree with honors from the Commonwealth Honors College at UMASS Amherst in psychology where I also focused on philosophy.

Moving Picture Institute Fellow (2021-Present)

As a fellow at MPI, I have had the opportunity to participate in their workshops and learn from high-level industry professionals including Oscar and Emmy award winning filmmakers.

NYU Tisch School of the Arts, Film & TV Industry Essentials Certificate, Yellowbrick, (2022)

The NYU course gave me the opportunity to create a short film from start to finish and also gave me a well rounded understanding of all aspects of the film industry from preproduction to marketing and distribution.

Other Past Film Experience

In addition to college level film courses, including video editing and film theory, I also completed a studio internship at a local TV station where I did every job in the studio, including technical directing, lighting, audio, camera work, and set design.
